Dorcas is a dynamic grassroots community action agency that is forward-thinking and highly regarded in the region. The full-time client services case manager plays a critical role on a small professional team that supports area residents experiencing housing and other financial crises.
You will provide caring case management services to clients with the goal of improving self-sufficiency. You will assist in the development of programs and services and support volunteer crisis counselors. You will collaborate daily with a wide variety of agencies and programs across Wake County. Work hours are full-time and may include some evenings and weekends.
Qualified applicants will have education and experience in case management and affordable housing services. Social work degree preferred. You must have strong interpersonal, mediation and conflict resolution skills. You must also be organized, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
